Media Advisory - Governor General to invest 43 members of the Canadian Armed Forces in the final ceremony of her mandate at the Citadelle

QUÉBEC, May 20, 2026 /CNW/ - Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, will present members of the Canadian Armed Forces with the Order of Military Merit insignia during an honours ceremony, at the Citadelle of Québec, on Friday, May 22. At the event, 2 Commanders (C.M.M.), 8 Officers (O.M.M.) and 33 Members (M.M.M.) will be invested into the Order, for a total of 43 recipients.
