nuBioAge's Clinical Longevity Summit Gathers World-Leading Physicians in West Palm Beach to Deliver the First Comprehensive Roadmap for Post-COVID Treatment

PR Newswire

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Sept. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 12–13, 2025, the Hilton West Palm Beach hosted the Clinical Longevity Summit (CLS), a two-day event dedicated to exploring the lasting impacts of COVID-19 on human health and the future of longevity medicine. Presented by nuBioAge, the summit gathered top internationally-recognized clinicians, researchers, and innovators to advance post-COVID care through a systems biology lens.

This year's theme, "Building Resilience in a Post-COVID World," brought together experts in pharmacology, cardiology, chemistry, neurology, gastroenterology, and integrative medicine to discuss the impact and precise treatment plans to restore psychological, metabolic, and mitochondrial balance in suffering patients.

Leading COVID researcher and internationally sought-after practitioner, Dr. Robin Rose, discussed how COVID reshaped biomarkers, inflammation, and long-term disease risk, while also addressing spike protein persistence and its role in ongoing symptoms. She brought special guest researcher and chemist, Dr. Simone Cristoni, from ISB: Ion Source and BioTechnology R&D Labs, to introduce breakthrough diagnostics capable of differentiating between vaccine-derived and wild-type spike proteins, paving the way for personalized treatment.

Internationally recognized speaker and practitioner in orthopedics, anti-aging, and regenerative medicine, Dr. Elizabeth Yurth emphasized mitochondrial collapse as the root cause of multi-organ dysfunction and how it can be treated through personalized peptide and mitochondrial therapies and strategies.

Triple-board-certified pediatric, integrative medicine, and regenerative medicine specialist, Dr. Cynthia Keller, led a two-part deep dive into post-COVID gut collapse and immune breakdown, offering practical peptide and compound protocols to restore resilience in both adolescent and adult patients. Hormone optimization and regenerative medicine expert, Dr. Suzanne Feree, engaged the crowd in a nervous system-regulating moment of gratitude just before discussing the impact of COVID on autonomic dysregulation, and how specific combinations in IV and peptide therapy can restore balance to our nervous system during recovery.

Preventive cardiologist and triple-board certified physician, Dr. Abid Husain, examined cardiovascular syndromes such as myocarditis and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), connecting endothelial damage and mitochondrial dysfunction with new therapeutic approaches. And finally, Leonard Pastrana, PharmD and Co-founder of nuBioAge, discussed exercise performance and how strengthening your mitochondria through testing, peptide therapy, and respiratory training can take patients beyond recovery from post-COVID respiratory dysfunction.

"This summit is about more than recovery. It's about reimagining how we practice medicine in a post-COVID era," said Leonard Pastrana, PharmD, Co-Founder of nuBioAge. "We are building a new standard of care, one where resilience and longevity are at the core of medicine, and most importantly, we're educating and growing a community that can withstand the future of how we practice longevity medicine."

The summit concluded with the Beyond Recovery panel and Q&A with the nuBioAge Scientific Team, where they explored how these interconnected systems–gut, mitochondria, immune, cardiovascular, and neurological health–impact baseline recovery and the real-world strategies these experts use to build whole-body resilience in post-COVID patients.

In addition to the all-star line-up of post-COVID experts, the summit showcased exhibitors in respiratory analysis, PNOĒ; compounding pharmacology, Progress Pharmacy; biomarker testing and health analysis, nuHx; and clinical performance optimization ketones, KenetikPro. nuBioAge also showcased a new exclusive peptide-enhancing partner supplement, Vedicinals9, designed to support immune resilience and cellular energy in post-COVID patients.

"We have so many patients suffering from post-COVID illnesses," said attendee Wandy Schlaug, NP from Crestwood, Kentucky. "With no protocols out there for post-COVID treatment, this conference offered exactly that: an answer to personalized, science-backed treatment I can take back to my practice and my patients."

Attendee Marcos de Andrade, MD, said, "...this has been a phenomenal experience. This conference has taught me new ways and strategies for approaching long-COVID treatment, while offering deeper learning into the science of recovery. "

In closing the summit, nuBioAge announced its next big event, CALM: the Clinical Application of Longevity Medicine, which will return February 27–28, 2026, at the Omni in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, continuing its mission to educate, connect, and empower practitioners in the next era of longevity medicine.
